The man, 33, has already been sentenced to 10 years in prison.
He was arrested by police at a pharmacy in Phuket city and was given the fake drugs as a reward for his participation in the investigation.
He has been previously linked to cases of a counterfeit version of the drug Viagra. He was arrested on June 20, 2017, and his case is being investigated by a special team.
